I have shopped around for heavy duty sewing machines and the prices are all around $300. This is by far the best review I have seen on any of them. I want one!

  2. Thanks for this review (of many reviews). Can I do my own maintenance on this machine? Like oiling gears, etc.???

  3. LaVerne says:

I am looking for a “user manual” for a Rotary/National sewing machine, model # 776. It has built in stitches and says “Automatic/Super Automatic on the plate on the top/front of machine. It is in such good condition that I hate to not be using it and looks like it is a heavy duty machine. Please help! My husband and I both have been looking online for a manual and have had no luck!!!

  4. pratham says:

do you consider customer service and company response issues while rating the machines.
what if someone gets lemon? how does the company take care of such matters.

  6. I am considering a purchase of a new machine. Your HD1000 Janome machine looks quite intriguing. I was wondering if you could tell me how your machine compares to a Husqvarna (Viking) 6000 series. Thank you.

  7. Bonnie Torres says:

I need a machine where presser foot can be raised higher. Sewing through multiple layers of fabrics and heavy webbing. Does this machine do that?

  8. Does the Janome HD1000 sew light material as well as thick material.
    Thank you
